Do you watch any of these shows?
-Grey’s Anatomy
-American Idol (3 nights a week)
-Desparate Housewives
-Boston Legal
-C.S.I. Miami
-The O.C. (farewell)
-Lost
These are some of our favorites. Note, none of the shows are actually on cable. We could get them free to air. However, if I want to see UNC or Mike and Mike in the morning or anything ESPN for that matter, I’ve got to have cable. Well, after watching “Grey’s” last night as predicted she lives, YAY! Of course, it’s GREY’S Anatomy. What an awesome show. I wonder how many people in America, including those antenna people, watch that show? It’s got to be a record. I think The right people for the most part were voted off on Idol. They wouldn’t have been in the final 12 anyway. I like Lakisha Jones. That girl can sang!! She doesn’t have “the look” but if people vote on sheer talent she’ll do well. And a fond farewell to the O.C. It got very old quickly after Marissa was killed off. Just a short rundown on a couple favorites. The list above are my (Aaron’s) favorites in order. I look at this list and wonder, why do I watch this stuff. I’m sure I could do better things with my time, like homework, reading, playing guitar and a host of other things. These soap opera dramas are addicting, maybe I should go have that checked. Until then, Jesus loves you, and I’m trying!

Okay so here’s something funny! (that’s my new saying; “wanna here somethin’ funny?”) Anyway…. As the mommies know, every time you go to the doctor you have to pee in the cup and get on the scale. Well, the cup thing is easy-getting on the scale and seeing the figure that comes up every month, not so easy, it’s getting bigger and bigger! YA, YA-this is what is supposed to happen…. & I’m slowly coming to terms with this
So, the other night-Aaron is taking my profile picture and he says “are you sticking it out?” (I know whoever is reading this is thinking, he must be crazy for saying this…..) That’s my husband, I did not take it in an insensitive way-we both just laughed as I told him NO! I was not sticking it out! Moms, you know how all of the sudden you just looked pregnant overnight? This is what has happen to my used to be size 10 hiney
But like Aaron said, it’s okay… and the more of me to love the better. Right? Well, sometimes anyway
I hope y’all enjoy reading these quirky Dininny happenings-we sure do!
Thank the Lord for laughter!
My beatiful wife is beginning to show that there is more of her to love. She’s gonna kill me for saying that, but you know what, she’s pregnant and frankly more Katie is just fine with me. So, here are some new pics of the pregnant lady and one of the two of us. We’re doing great. Things have been very busy with the students. I think this is the only weekend in a while that there isn’t an activity going on with them. A much needed break is in order especially for wifey. She’s tired and I don’t blame her. I encourage her to back off a little bit here and there you know, but Katie is all or nothin’. But seriously if I have to tie her to the sofa for a few hours on the weekend or Wed night, then I will. The baby is now about 3 to 4 inches long and weighs one ounce. WE can’t wait to (hopefully) find out the sex next month. We can begin planning parties and painting and all the other stuff we have been “planning” to do. In the mean time, enjoy the pics and comment for us so we know you’re really out there. Love y’all!!
Wow, what a quick 3 months. Well, we’ve only known for a month and a half, but still, we now move in to the protruding belly and more and more food!! I just hope when she’s eating for two, it doesn’t give me the excuse to do the same! The baby is now about 2.5 inches long and weighs 14 grams. (note: a paper clip weighs about 1 gram) We could probably hear the heartbeat right now, but we have an appointment in the middle of the month where that may be done. This exciting time continues as we try our best to prepare financially, mentally and structurally. Of course I mean by house renovations. My goal is to have the bathroom and the kitchen done before baby comes. The baby’s room will also need some sprucing up, like paint, new ceiling (replace drop down squares with 1/4 in. sheetrock) and the shifting and adding of new furniture. All of this can’t be done right away until the sex is known, but the general non-cosmetic things can be done. So continue praying for us as we prepare for this little miracle. We are both so thrilled and can’t help smiling at each other everyday (most of the time). Thanks for reading, we’ll be in touch.
