Abigail wakes up (in the morning) pretty happy! So the other day- she gets up, gets dressed, gets her hair “did” and eats her breakfast; and as I’m going out the door for work, she says ” I need to go to church.”
So honest and spirit filled!
There’s your quote of the day: “I need to go to church” !!!

PRAY!
and pray hard… that God leads you where HE wants you.
Don’t listen to negativity, drama & anything else that will shift your focus from Him!
“….we lift your name up, we lift your name up!”
Pictures below of family fun… church… ENJOY!
Parents plan for their child’s birthday for weeks and it’s all over in a matter of hours! Aaron and I began telling Abigail, about a week in advance, that is was going to be her birthday soon. Finally, two days before her birthday, we had her excited about (of all things)…..cake!
So this past Sunday morning, our hard work paid off. The first thing she said to me when she woke up was, “Abbi want to eat the cake.” I laughed at my 2 year old and her perfect memory
Thank you to all of our family and friends that helped to make Abigail’s birthday such a wonderful day! We are now underwater in tea cup sets! (just kidding-our Abigail is crazy about tea parties)
Thanks again to all !!! Enjoy the pics!
This morning I looked out my kitchen window while rinsing out Leigh-Leigh’s bottle and thought, I am so happy. My babies are healthy and my husband is a strong man of God. I am so happy. Someone once told me, “don’t let the bad situations in life steal your joy.”
EnJOY!

If you know Levi, the title of this blog is all you need to read! ![]()
Levi is one of the kids in my husband’s/our church’s Youth Group.
Aaron and I have watched this kid grow into a man of God. So last night the Youth shared their testimonies with our church congregation at our Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting. Every word was important . Stories of lessons learned, prayers needed and our Youth teaching, learning and growing in Christ. Then comes Levi-let me just say-
DUDE BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN!
… my baby was preaching! I have tears in my eyes just blogging about it! And you can be sure I had a big goofy grin on my face when he was preaching to the congregation-on a WEDNESDAY night! Those people went away CHURCHED UP! UmmmmHmmmm! Go ‘head now!
He said “don’t think things are gonna come your way if you are sitting here on your butt”…”we need to get out into our community, this is a mission.” O! & by the way… God has called him into missions- near, far or otherwise, Levi is ready to go. He’s ready to lead people to the Living Water. He’s right, this IS a mission. This life, this job, this co-worker, this fellow church-go-er, this friend, THIS!
Find God and find His mission in your life!
My husband gave me the sweetest compliment the other day…he said “your freckels are cute.”
Thanks Babe, you gave me butterflies!
I love you.

So I got an email from my best friend, Nicole. They just closed on their first home (her and her husband Scott) and are so super excited to be homeowners-minus the first glitch they have already run into. Anywho, the email she sent had some information that I had asked for and then some encouragement that I didn’t. (thank you Lord for unseen encouragement) So here’s how she said it, “let me know if you hear from your realtor, we are praying for you guys.” Did you catch that? WE are praying for you guys. Marriage and Prayer-what a concept! Don’t get me wrong Aaron and I pray together, not as much as we should, but we do pray together. Do you pray with your spouse? Do you know what God can accomplish through BOTH of you?… if you just let Him build you up and make your team stronger?
It gives me chills just thinking about it!
Aaron and I want to encourage you to spend time discussing your day (with your spouse) and also spend time in prayer. The strength you will experience will overwhelm you, I promise!
Team Jesus is looking for more players. Do you and your spouse have what it takes to help lead people to everlasting life?
If you think the answer is no, pray about it-TOGETHER!
Thank you Nicole for inspiring these words.
Thank you Lord for speaking through my best friend, now and always. Amen.
So, Aaron and I have this friend… greatest guy you’ll ever meet! At random times in conversations or when a story is being told, he’ll say “well, I know a guy.” I’m sure he’s said it for the longest time, but one day we caught on at how frequent this catch phrase was used. It’s just a little something that makes Aaron and I smile when we hear it.
iPod…
iPhone…
I don’t remember growing up with all this “stuff” that was mine. Possessions that don’t really further us in life, make us who we are or really tell the story of our lives (although they might be called “i” this and “i” that).
I told my story this past weekend. You know, my story… my testimony. The first thing you should share in the witnessing process? Or, so I’m told that’s the first thing you share. I’m not sure I agree. While having dinner with a friend this past Friday night, she said “what’s your story” ? So I began to babble on. It was then that I realized, I knew my story-but never shared it before. So let’s put this in perspective here… I’ve been an active Christian for about 6 years, but the first year & a half I was just going through the motions. You see, I think everyone “knew” I had all the answers to starting my walk with Jesus. I didn’t. When my husband was blessed with a Youth Pastor job @ Ocean View Baptist Church, I was still going through those same motions. What happened? Why did I get, should we say, missed? My answer: IDK ! (txt gargin for I don’t know) In churches today this happens a lot. Why do you think people come and go so quickly? Maybe cuz we didn’t take the time to see where they really were in their life with Christ. What their story was. Current followers of Jesus are so wrapped up in iChurch that they see the new people, involve them and move on to the next person. Is that what He wants? So…my personal opinion here, NO! This includes me, get off your hiney (as Abigail would say) …and make something happen-test the knowledge, challenge your fellow church go-er & lets make the churches of today grow with people full of knowledge & passion about our RISEN KING !
