So… … I’m building a portfolio.
I never thought that a mere camera purchase would turn into such a passion… thank you to all my subjects, especially my patient children who FOREVER have a camera lens pointed in their direction!

There are many things I could say about the last 18 months…
Let’s just stick with, “that was fun.”

here are my beautiful babies at the beach! This trip to the beach was so much fun… I’m usually behind the camera; this time Aaron volunteered. ENJOY!
Pictures below of family fun… church… ENJOY!
This morning I looked out my kitchen window while rinsing out Leigh-Leigh’s bottle and thought, I am so happy. My babies are healthy and my husband is a strong man of God. I am so happy. Someone once told me, “don’t let the bad situations in life steal your joy.”
EnJOY!

Leigh-Leigh, say cheese !

One is growing, one is learning and the other two are freaking out!
Growing
Kerrigan (or Leigh Leigh as we call her) is growing fast. She coos, she kicks, she screams, she lifts her head and eats a lot! It’s fun to watch as she grows, but sometimes we wish we could give her as much time as we gave Abigail at her age. And that is the battle, to stop trying to compare one to the other. More on that in a few.
Learning
Abigail is learning so much it’s scary. Scary because she imitates and repeats everything. I see so much of our mannerisms in her all the time. She tries to say everything in her own little way and sometimes it’s hilarious other times, just downright confusing. Right now, everything that is “hers” ends with “me”. So, her book/my book, becomes book-me. Her fork, fork-me, careful with that one ![]()
Freaking OUT!
That’s me (Aaron) and sometimes Katie. Like I said earlier about not comparing, Leigh Leigh is NOT Abigail. You know how some old people tell you that God has a sense of humor? It’s true. He gives you one that is seemingly perfect and the other one that sometimes will not stop crying. So how do we deal, well most of the time WE don’t, but my loving and gracious wife steps in to save the day. I’m getting better and I’m trying. It’s hard. If you have one child, wait a little while to have the next. 15 months is like having twins (I have twin sisters that are 16 years younger than me, I know) but you get a little bit of a break in the feeding arena with one on a bottle and the other on everything else.
So, yeah, we have our freak outs, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Being a parent has help me in my multitasking abilities. It has given me more energy (that could be the Wii Fit). And it has given me a better understanding of the love of God. Tonight, when I saw Abigail at church, said, “Hi baby I’m so happy to see you”. She proceeded to run by me and not let me pick her up. I bet we do that to God a lot! He has His arms open for us to run and give Him a hug, but we run right by Him and spit in His face on the way by. A little advice; stop, give Him a hug. Not because He needs it, but because you do!
Just some things that God is teaching me through my girls (all of them).
